Very nice fishing gloves

These gloves fit well and are comfortable. The finger ends seem durable and have magnets to attach to the back of the glove. When you wear the gloves normally, without the fingers pulled back, there is a chance the magnets will pick up metal objects such as small weights, hooks (yikes), and some other metal items. Therefore, you have to be extra careful when touching your face, head, etc. when you are wearing them. I do think the magnets are better than the snaps as the snaps would wear out quicker on the gloves. The gloves are not too bulky and fit snug. The finger ends are not hard to pull back. They finger ends do not provide a secure fit when you wear the glove normally. However, this is to be expected. The gloves have nice grip pads so you can securely hold objects.I would purchase these again as they are very nice fishing gloves.

Work well

Gloves are comfy and warm and the magnets work well to keep the fingers out of the way however it’s still difficult to fish with these on as my hands don’t have natural mobility. Not a knock on these gloves more so a knock on trying to fish with gloves in general.

Good but with drawbacks

Very good quality, but the orange inside fur can get everywhere and the magnets are kind of weak, but the water repellant is good in a traps heat very well

Wish they fit women!

These gloves appear to be well made and likely warm. Sadly, even though I ordered a size small they are enormous. Fingers too long, thumb too long and width of glove overall very wide. They are advertised for men AND women but they certainly are too big for a women with average hands. I will order the extra small but I’m not hopeful they will fit.

Palmyth Gloves with Flex-Tip Fingers

Fit and finish is very good. It's easy to get the finger and thumb tips to open up. Having said that, if the tips are closed and you get near metal like a car door, the magnets will "lock on" to the metal. Also, they aren't the warmest gloves I've ever worn. I haven't gotten them wet yet so I can't comment on them being waterproof or not.

Performed perfectly, I have no complaints

I used these while hunting elk in Wyoming. They kept my hands warm while allowing me to use my rifle without restriction. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Satisfied

I work outside in Chicago winter, and must use a tablet. These gloves have been a good solution to be able to use a touchscreen, and for other areas where I need dexterity. I also prefer the magnets over Velcro to secure the removable “finger-tips”.One downside is they do pick up moisture from perspiration, but I make sure they get dried thoroughly so it hasn’t been much of an issue for me.

Little short in the fingertips otherwise good

Just got these yesterday and had to use them today. 16 degrees outside and they actually kept my hands fairly warm. I measure and take pictures of homes so I need to write notes and also use my camera so the open finger tips really work. The gloves also aren't very thick so I can easily write with a pen. Would have gave a five but the tips that open are a little difficult to uncover and cover my fingertips but not impossible. Normally I try to do my work with no gloves but sometimes I can't feel my fingertips after 15-20 minutes so these are nice.

These Gloves Run Small and Have Some Quality Control Issues With The Stitching

These run small, have loose ends and the thumbs are difficult to unfold and or remove when wearing them. I'm not going to destroy the brand/item because of a fit issue but, they do run one size smaller than any other Large that I have ordered in gloves. If you are a large in any other glove, buy an XL with these.

One issue with it, otherwise, perfect.

I am very happy with the design, materials, and comfort, almost everything. The only issue I have with this gloves is the position of the velcro buckle. It is located on top of the wrest and it caused a big problem with Apple Watch. It would touch the side buttons of the watch and trigger unnecessary functions constantly which is a big issue for me. If the velcro buckle could be located under the wrest, then it would be perfect for my use.

Decent Gloves

I'm a USPS Mail carrier. I got these gloves because I was looking for something waterproof, warm, and with either phenomenal grip/no loss of dexterity or the ability to have thumb, pointer finger and middle finger free. I thought that these gloves met all of these points. However, I knew from the first moment I put them on they wouldn't be acceptable. I'm a smaller guy, 8" palm circumference, and 3" middle finger length. The gloves fit perfectly everywhere EXCEPT the thumb and pointer fingers. The movable finger covers for both of those appendages is well over an entire inch too long. The magnets that keep those magnetized to the knuckles are also too weak. Seemed like anything and everything would break the bond and let them fly loose. Finally, the stitching on the left pointer finger flippable part is coming undone after only 3 days of use. Honestly doubt they'll last me through this winter. These could be some real OG gloves, but I just don't think they're sturdy enough long term use or for more than the occasional flipping of the movable finger tips. The idea is great, but fingers are not all one size. Major issue with ALL glove manufacturers. The size is always spot on with the palm, but the fingers are ALWAYS too long.

Good “fingerless” gloves

Needed a warm glove that I couldHave access to my fingers for smart Phone proposes. I didn’t want a mitten type glove, so I found these. They are perfect for what I need and use them for. Good warmth, and grip. And it’s water proof! Which is a plus. They are very easy to manipulate your fingers in and out of them for quick use of your finger, or fingers! The magnets are awesome. They are strong and keep the finger tips in place when you don’t need them. Much better than the Velcro other gloves use that get filled with lint and glove pills, and eventually don’t “stick” so well over time. But these magnets are awesome. They do not effect the weight of the gloves either.

Cold-weather gloves for active people

This is a great glove to wear for people with a more active lifestyle. What I mean is for those who hike or walk or do other active activities in the winter time. I bought these gloves based on a review for those who use cameras in colder weather areas. Here in Austin, it doesn’t get that cold, but I do take trips to national parks and forest where it is colder. One morning the temperatures were in the upper 30s, and I decided to try them out. They do work great at keeping your hands warm. I could feel that difference when I let the fingers come out or had one glove off because I was carrying a poop bag with my dog stuff on a morning walk. It does takes some getting used to in working with the fingers. Most of the time in the past, I had taken off my gloves to do things that required finger dexterity in the past. Now I have to think because it’s a lot freer to just pop the glove tips off and do whatever that way.I can’t speak for how durable the gloves are and things based on a longer use. But they do seem to work for keeping warm in a colder weather climate, especially if you’re being active.

Durable, Comfortable, & Advantageous

Got these gloves because I work for the Security department at my university, and part of the job includes patrolling the parking lots in a golf cart. That duty includes writing tickets for those who have parked in lots that are restricted to other types of students and/or faculty & staff. For instance, one lot is only to be used by faculty and staff members, while another is for commuting students only.Given that the index finger, middle finger, and thumb of these gloves equipped with snap-style button fasteners, I finally have gloves perfect for the job. I am able to keep my hands warm on the coldest days, while I also maintain the option to write tickets (or whatever the case may call for) much more easily with the necessary fingers free.I highly recommend these gloves for not just fishermen, but anyone that needs to keep warm, yet maintain functionality in the given fingers that can snap back on these gloves. While my case is very specific, I can definitely see there being a wide variety of task accomplish more easily via the benefit of these gloves.Would absolutely re-purchase should these gloves wear down. Though, their durability is quite obvious and I don't anticipate needing to do so for quite some time.In short: Durable, Comfortable, Surprisingly Stylish (though not a huge concern of mine, personally), and Highly Advantageous for a Variety of Tasks.

Definitely not for *cold* weather, but...

The main reason I bought these was for outdoor photography. I liked that the finger caps flapped back but only on the thumb and forefinger. That's really all I needed, and with many gloves it's all or nothing, both in terms of fingers AND flaps. When they arrived, the fit I had chosen was perfect and nothing about them seemed cheap or flimsy. The material and the snaps for the finger flaps were all of good quality.HOWEVER, when the manufacturer states that these gloves are not recommended for temps below 36F, they mean it! I've tried using them when the temperature was right around freezing and my fingers and hand were ice cold in no time. They have a thin microfleece lining but are really not very insulated at all, and it almost seems as though the wind soaks right into them. This is with all fingers capped, too. If you're looking for gloves for photography, fishing, or shooting at temps above 36F, you'll love these things. If (like me) you were hoping for something a bit more insulating, you should look elsewhere. If anyone from Palmyth is reading this, please design an activities glove just like this that would keep our hands warm at lower temperatures!
