They have magnets instead of Velcro! BIG difference from other gloves. Water resistant, but not waterproof if you drop them. Got lots of compliments and questions on where I got them.

Ordered the smallest size they have and they are very large. In the photo, the left glove is the "Palmyth Magnetic Fleece Fishing Gloves Convertible 3 Cut Fingers" in size small and the right side is another fleece glove I have in small. The Palmyth glove measures 4 and 1/4 across the palm and from the top of the middle finger to the wrist cinch, 8 inches. The other glove is 3 and 5/16 inches across the palm and almost 7 inches from middle finger top to wrist cinch. So the Palmyth gloves are significantly larger. My palm width is 3 and 1/4 and my middle finger tip to wrist is 6 and 3/4 inches. Although my hands swim in them, the gloves are very warm and the extra fabric and stitching around the openings will prevent fraying so they are well made.

Wonderful gloves! I used them in Iceland so I could stay warm and take pictures. They were perfect! Waterproof, warm, practical.

The thumbs cannot stay closed on my fingers. My thumbs end up cold because they won’t stay closed. The other fingers work well, just the thumbs dont work.

I was worried these wouldn't be warm enough, because it's just fleece (as opposed to fleece lined), and the finger tips are not fully sealed (obviously), but I used them to shovel snow in 5F temps, and my hands were perfectly toasty. I kind of wish the magnets held them closed instead of holding them open, because it's easier to open them than to close them, but it's pretty minor. Overall I'm happy and warm.

I purchased these gloves for a trip to Iceland. They worked great! Kept my hands warm and allowed me to open the finger tips to operate my camera when taking pictures. I especially like the magnetic fingertip releases.

This product is well made. The previous pair I had lasted 5 years. I would recommend this to anyone.

Works great, fits to your hands well and are warm, only thing it wish was that the fingers that can be removed had a bit more stretch so it can go over your fingers a bit smoother. Worried that they will rip off, but even if they do the gloves will still be nice and let me work with thin wires outside during the winter

Fit pretty well. Thumbs are a bit long for me, which is a little problematic when using a touch screen. Some of the magnets aren't perfectly aligned in my opinion, which sometimes makes getting them to latch take longer than it should. Long term I'm worried that the finger tips will rip off with continued use, either flipping up the tips or just by pulling the gloves off my hands. Wish it had the tan grippy bits on some of the finger tips as they are rather slippery otherwise (especially the touch screen pads) and have nearly had my coffee cup slip out of my hands because of this. Wish they came in black. I know I've written a rather critical review, but I still like the product, particularly because it is the only one I've found with all the features this glove offers and hope they take this feedback and make an even better product in the future!!

This was a good purchase. I don't ice fish but will sit outside and smoke my cigars even in the winter and these have been great at keeping my hands warm but still giving me the dexterity of having my fingers exposed in order to use the lighter and hold the cigar without burning regular gloves. Once it's lit and in a good burn I can put away my off hands fingers and stay nice and toasty. They're well fitting with the largest sizes just fitting my large hands.

Although the really harsh weather hasn't hit yet, I've been able to use these in 30-40 degree weather.I work outside handling cold metal instruments and computers. I have issues with my fingers always being cold and sensitive to long periods of exposure. I have tried everything. Full gloves, fingerless, mittens, combinations, hand warmers and everything just doesn't work or becomes too cumbersome to use. These are exceptional!!Who needs the pinky and ring finger exposed? Such a brilliant idea-these allow me to peel back just what I need and then quickly cover right back up. They are warm, comfortable, and dexterous and the grip is a bonus.These are not waterproof/resistant. I wish they were, but somewhere a sacrifice needs to be made.The only issues I see, The stitching around the finger flaps feels weak and they could pull out after a lot of use. That has not happened, just a forethought. Also, I wish the magnets were a bit stronger, but again, not enough to drop any stars.The touchscreen pads are useless, but that is beside the point as its just as easy (easier) to pull back the finger flap and have full access.For me, they are true to fit. If I can get 1 season out of them with heavy daily use, I am a happy camper!

I’ve tried various gloves with removable fingertips. Until now, they were all disappointing one way or another.I’m not using them for fishing, but for flying a drone during these cold winter months.The magnetic fingertips are great! When they’re closed, you don’t feel the magnets even though they’re strong enough to hold the tip(s) open without flapping around like other brands do. Plus each of the opening tips is individual, so you can keep all but one closed if you want.The palm of the glove has a rubberized pattern for easier gripping and the glove itself is very comfortable without feeling chintzy.If I ever lose one, I’ll definitely buy another pair from this vendor and I would happily buy these as a gift.Overall, I give these gloves 5 stars and highly recommend them.

Ok 2 important things, the magnets are opposite so guys make sure when sewing over the fingers the position of the magnets are correct, gave me a hard time to flip it over inside the glove, I’m the kinda person that I don’t give any reviews without fundamentals also I don’t give reviews because I’m mad and I’m gonna screw them over, I’m objective, so I took the magnet problem and I solved it, secondly I am from Minnesota so the winter here is brutal! These gloves I should say are decent but won’t protect your hands beyond 10 degrees, will keep you warm the first hr maybe the second using hands warmers pouches, but sincerely It’s not easy to find gloves that protect you from below 0 degrees, but even if you go to Costco and get the spiders ones for $20 will get the same result and performance as these, but the fact that you can uncovering your finger and manipulate the phone gives them a plus. These aren’t designed for really cold temperatures passing 15degrees F after an hr you will get frost bitten. And also make sure the cover on the fingers the part you can remove are little bit more larger because when you cover your fingers up there’s a little gap that doesn’t go all the way and that’s crucial for cold temperatures

Worked better than a fancy $50-60 pair I got off another site that looked like ski gloves and had a zippered side finger opening were bulky without these magnets to keep fingers out of the way and others looked warm but once not moving I felt the cold go through them- where these felt just as warm for a single fleece layer. Loved the magnetic flaps held back while I was shooting. For onr gun I needed one finer, for another 2 fingers, nice flip options quickly flips back. Nice grip in palm helped too. Proper fit for sizing as I expected, returned the others, kept these. Might not be best if wetter conditions because not waterproof, but might opt to not go to range then lol. Soft, comfy, great for my day competition shooting in freezing temps!

I am a mail carrier & I absolutely love these gloves. It’s cold already this year & quite snowy. I wear these gloves for work & they are awesome. The small was a little big on my petite hands, but I wear a pair of nitrile gloves underneath & they are perfect. I am able to keep the important fingers free to finger the mail & still keep the rest of my hand warm & toasty. I can cover those other fingers in the morning when I’m loading packages into the truck & uncover what I need to while I’m out delivering. Snow on the boxes, no problem. Cover & uncover 1 finger at a time as temperature & snow dictate. The spot on the wrist for the disposable hand warmer is the perfect size & stretchy enough to easily get the warmer in the pocket. The magnets that hold the fingertips back is good & strong for the most part. Wish it was just a smidge stronger but I’m sure whoever designed it never expected what all a mail carrier does. It’s very easy to flip back open & really not a nuisance at all. Now this company needs to partner with someone that makes a rechargeable hand warmer to fit in the pocket & it would be perfect!

As an avid birder, ebirder and photographer, I've tried a dozen different texting gloves and most only work partially at best or not at all, which is frustrating when trying to make ebird entries on my phone while in the field. Constantly having to pull off gloves to list or make adjustments on my camera leads to freezing hands. With these gloves I just flip back the index finger. They are a nice soft fleece with a gripper palm, helpful when handling equipment outdoors. There is always a trade off in thickness and flex, I prefer mobility and just add hand warmer packets when it's really cold. I ended up doing a Goldilocks with the sizes, ordering L which were huge on me but fine for my 6'3" husband, then M, still to large and finally S, which are just right. I wear a women's large glove but the gloves run large. I returned the M and got an immediate credit, so kudos for service. And now a bunch of my birding buddies have gotten them too.

I walk a dog and have to pick up after her and these work really well. The magnets are much better than Velcro which catches all kinds of debris, but the fingers fold back beautifully, when you need to, you can reinsert your fingers while you continue your walk. They also have a little gizmo attached to each glove that lets you hook then together so you won't lose one. They are warmer than other fingerless glove/mittens that I've tried, so I hope they'll be warm enough for cold NY days. They are also comfortable while driving. I'm so excited about them that I'm buying 2 more pairs as Christmas gifts for family members.I'm adding to my original review. I just bought a new pair for myself and they have improved on these gloves making 3 fingers that slip on and off and they're even warmer. I have Reynaud's and I have to keep my hands warm or it's painful and these are even better. The magnets are super.
