This sweater is extremely well designed and warm. The way the material is layered in combination with the neck wgaiter and lining makes for an extremely warm sweater. This sizing and fit were accurate and its made from super nice warm material. Im extremely pleased with how it worked out for general use when its all super cold working at the marina.

This is a really nice shirt. I have a few products from Palmyth and cant complain about any. This is a nice fleece lined hoodie that when wearing, (under a coat) in -4 it was warm. The hood is a nice size not to big and fits fairly compact to the cranium. The pocket is a kangaroo pocket with some odd velcro esq system on either side. Not the greatest as it does get a little scratchy. Think plastic knobs rather then actual velcro. It is nice as it does hold the pocket closed for basic movement so things do not fall out but not fully secure where if you are trying to get into your pocket quick it would be a problem. The pocket itself is also lined and soft. It has a thumb hole to cover most of your hand. The hood strings are elastic and use a quick stop mech rather then dangling strings so you do not dip them in whatever you are doing which i like. The face mask is large, as in I can cover my entire face with it, also has breath holes in it to allow easy breathing. The gator portion is not to tight, I hate turtle necks, you do notice it but it is not compressing me like a really weak person trying to choke me out, it does NOT feel like that. And yes, I have had that happen in martial arts kids classes, and yes it is a lot like a turtleneck, a slow weak squeeze. Really this is well made, great stitching, great features, warm, comfortable. I have not worn it or tested it for water resistant. The warm aspect, I did run around outside in 10 degrees one day for 10 min without feeling cold. Ears got a little chilled but i did not pull the hood tight and honestly that is the job of a winter hat. This is a great shirt, I would highly recommend this shirt to anyone.

Thick but not too thick black hoodie. The gaitor is attached and has holes to make breathing easier. It is thinner than the hoodie so it will be slightly more comfortable but it is attached all the way around so no option to not use it unless alterations are made.Two stops on the drawstring to adjust the hood fit.Really cool, almost silent connectors on the “kangaroo” pocket to help contain anything carried there and also not scare fish or animals when opening the pocket.“Palmyth” is in white down the left sleeve. The fish logo is in white, small, and mid-chest.The hoodie is sized as expected and seems very warm. I believe this will last awhile as the seams and fabric are of good quality.

I ordered this to go fishing in the winter but it arrived just in time for a freeze alert. I didn't have my usual cold weather jacket so grabbed this hoodie and put it on under a fleece jacket. Helped to block the wind from getting in though the fleece jacket. The hoodie also has a soft fleece lining which kept me toasty at 30°F. The built-in neck gaiter for face protection is something I haven't seen in any other hoodies and was great for the cold spell. The hands have ventilation holes in the underarm and thumb holes to lock sleeves in place while working outside. Water-resistant shell . Fits true-to-size, and $59 is good price for the additional features. Durability is yet to be seen as I only wore it once so far but this just might the best hoodie I own.

Runs big; M is an L, or XL for some people. Warm but depends on your situation as the vents actually work and can change body temp depending on layers and individual. Otherwise I'd say its a pretty neat sweater.

Okay this is the perfect southern winter fishing hoodie. It's super smooth to the touch, but warm when you need it but doesn't make you sweaty. It has a really slick sheen to it too. There's a gator inside that you can pull up and it's really well portioned with all the breathing holes in it too. It cuts the wind but isn't heavy. It's like the perfect combo of a light hoodie and a windbreaker without feeling like you're suffocating inside. It's held up really well to a few all day fishing trips so far and I can definitely recommend it.
