In recent years, I've become a lot more prone to covering up rather than slathering on sunscreen. Call it laziness, call it easier, whatever. But something like this is fantastic and what I was hoping for.First, as a swim cover up dress alone it's fantastic. It has a full zip down the front, with an extra round of fabric at the neck to prevent zipper chafing, which is great, and the neck isn't super snug so you don't feel like you're being choked. I like that the long sleeves have thumb holes, though I do think they could have been a little further down and/or the sleeves could have been 1/2 - 1 inch longer to make them more comfortable. And while I probably won't use the optional drawstrings at the thighs most of the time, I do like options, so I'm happy they're there.I ordered mine in size XL, in the Ultramarine color, which is a gorgeous blue which has been colorfast in its first washings. The fabric is definitely swim-safe, smooth and comfortable, and very much like a good quality swimsuit.As other reviewers have said, though, this is definitely a size-up situation. My usual size is an XL, and it fits well, but still emphasized every curve, dip, and bump. If you want it to be more loose as shown in the listing photos, size up, and use the bust/waist measurements in the size chart for reference. If I were to order this again, I'd order it in a 2XL.All said and done, I can't wait to use this out on the beach, the pool, in water parks, etc. I already have rash guards, but having that little bit of extra coverage is always worth it.

This coverup is nice! I ordered and received the “Sky” colorway, and it’s a pretty, periwinkle toned light blue. The material is nice and thin for Summer; it is not heavy or bulky in any way, and provides UPF 50 sun protection. The style is nice and long with a high neck and long sleeves with thumbholes, so it is definitely a full coverage style with wonderful sun protection. There are drawstrings on the sides, so you can wear it as a flat hem at the bottom, or cinch it and tie the sides for a little rushing and more of a baseball hem style. I like the full zipper; all of the other rashguards/sun protection shirts I have are a 1/2 zip, pullover style, but it is nice to be able to completely unzip this to remove it.In terms of size, I would recommend sizing up a size from whatever you normally wear if you want it to fit like on the model; it is a very fitted style. I normally am between a small and medium; I wear medium if I want things more oversized, so I went with a medium in this, and I wish I would have sized up to a large for a looser fit. Even if you never wear that size, I’d recommend sizing up anyway with this if you want it to fit a little more loosely, like on the model.Overall this is a nice cover up with great protection - just size up!

This is a nice, very thin material cover-up which wouldn't be too hot in the summer. The thin material is a little clingy if you are concerned with lumps and bumps. I am typically between a medium and a large and I got the medium and it is way too tight for me and shows every imperfectionso I will be giving this away. If you want it to look like the picture in the description I would recommend maybe sizing up if you are in between sizes. The color blue is very pretty and there are thumb holes which would be nice for a walk on the beach and the sun protection could cover your hands which is an added bonus .

This swim cover up is comfortable, lightweight, and does exactly what it is designed to do. The UPF 50 plus fabric provides good sun protection, and the full zip front makes it easy to put on and take off over a swimsuit. The long sleeves with thumb holes are a nice feature for keeping your arms and hands covered during long days outside. I also like the adjustable side ruching, which lets you change the length a bit depending on the look you want. The fabric dries quickly, feels soft against the skin, and is comfortable enough to wear for walks on the beach, by the pool, or while boating. My biggest complaint is the price. While it is a nice cover up with thoughtful features, I do not think the quality quite justifies the premium cost. It feels well made, but there are similar options available for less. I like the fit, comfort, and sun protection, and I expect to get plenty of use out of it. If you can catch it on sale, I think it is a much better value.

This is a beautiful cover up dress! This swim cover up is a long sleeve dress that's well designed and executed. Made with a comfortable, lightweight material that has very nice elasticity and UPF coverage, the design features long sleeves and a length that's just below the hips. The sides have draw strings for a fashionable adjustment and the sleeves are designed for your hands and thumb to fit into so you can minimize your sun exposure during long days on the beach. The zipper is high qualilty and smoothly glides open and closed easily, with a little comfort flap at the top. The color is simply beautiful. The moisture wicking material is quick to dry and feels super comfortable on the skin. It also doesn't snag or catch on your swimsuit which is very important, but it does feel durable. There are no pockets, which would be nice, but it's still an awesome cover up. Very happy with it! Highly recommended!

This swim dress is well made, with a full length zipper going up the front and thumby holes on the sleeves. The problem is I just ordered small since that is what I've been wearing lately, but clearly I should have gotten a medium or even a large. I am 5'6" and 140lbs, jeans size 6, but have bulges in some places. This dress shows them ALL. I look significantly worse in this than in the bathing suit I'm wearing under it. I really like this coverup. The color is vibrant and appears as it does on the screen. The fabric is a stretchy knit type that is soft and comfortable. This washed and dried beautifully and came out of the machine exactly as it went in. The length is great, coming to approximately mid thigh, with the ability to adjust the appearance with the side shirring. This is well made with tight stitching. Unfortunately, the size chart isn't accurate and this runs small. While I can put this on and zip it up, it's very snug and accentuates imperfections. Depending on your preference, size up 1-2 sizes.

I was looking for swim coverups for an upcoming trip. I ordered this swim cover-up dress in ultramarine, size small, for $39.98. The color is absolutely beautiful in person, and the fabric is thick, soft, and high quality. I really like that it provides very good sun protection, which makes it a perfect option when you are spending all day on the water. The adjustable sides are a great feature and make it easy to customize the length of the skirt.However, there are a couple of things I would like to change. The plastic zipper can get a little itchy against my skin, and it would be more comfortable if there were a small layer of fabric behind the zipper. This swim shirt is long, lightweight, and comfortable. It has holes for your thumbs. The zipper goes all the way down for easy on and off. In cooler water, this keeps you a bit warmer. I also like that the UPF helps prevent burns. It is as long as a mid thigh length dress (size small, 5’3, approx 115-120lbs). And it can scrunch up to hit at my hips. Although, when it is scrunched all the way on both sides, the zipper bunches up and looks funny (minus a star). Overall, I’m pleased and it fits normal size

Okay so I bought this because I'm one of those people who burns super easily and I'm so tired of reapplying sunscreen every hour at the beach. I took this to the lake last weekend and honestly I'm obsessed with it now. The UPF 50+ protection is the main reason I grabbed it and the fabric actually feels really lightweight and breathable, not hot and sticky like I was worried it might be. The full zip up the front is such a smart design because you can zip it all the way up when you're sitting in direct sun and then unzip a little when you head into the shade. Easy on and off over a wet swimsuit too which is huge. The little drawstring ruching on the sides is my favorite detail. You can cinch it in to make it look more fitted or leave it loose for a more flowy look. It also has thumb holes at the sleeves which I didn't expect to love as much as I do but it keeps the sleeves from riding up. The ultramarine color is really pretty in person. Not too bright, not too dull. It photographs almost exactly like the listing photos which is rare. Fit wise I went with my normal size and it hits just above mid thigh on me which feels like good coverage without being too long. This would be perfect for anyone who spends a lot of time on boats, at the beach, or even just doing outdoor activities where sun protection matters.

I absolutely love this! It is sized as advertised and so cute! I put it on over my swimsuit and just headed home from the lake. It looks like a cute little dress. The material dries quickly, and the color is absolutely beautiful. The zipper lets you cover up and be modest or unzip a bit for a seriously less modest look! You can tie the edges up a little higher to give it a little more viewability of your thigh or be a bit more modest and keep it down low. This washed up well I hung it to dry. It's enough to keep the wind off of you but not be too hot. Great peace! Very protective of sun and lightweight. Very high quality piece.

I wore this women’s swim cover-up dress on a cruise we recently took. Being able to put this on over my bathing suit and feel a little more put together is really nice. And it has the bonus of being UPF 50+ protective as well.. The zipper closure on the full front and the adjustable ties on the sides to adjust the length are great features too. The material dries quickly and can be worn multiple days for every vacation. It must have to toss in your beach bag for pool days boat or beach days.* When I interact with a product, generally I rate based on the following:* 1 Star: The product is terrible, not suitable for its intended use, or the seller was deceptive. I would not ever consider purchasing this product again. It might have been misrepresented.

I'm excited to have this beautiful summer cover-up. I would have liked to have given it a 4.5 but don't have that option as the product description warned me that the item runs on the small side. I thought that going one size up to a medium would have been sufficient. In retrospect, I wish I'd gone 2 sizes up.The color is a periwinkle which is so gorgeous that I'm tempted to use it as a light cover for work (but haven't 🙂). The option to cinch the sides is nice, though I tend to prefer the flat hem style. It's certainly nice enough to head to a restaurant/market after the beach/pool!I needed a UPF 50+ cover-up with full back and arm coverage due to some skin issues I have, but I didn't want anything that was so heavy a material that I'd be uncomfortable. This material is highly breathable. I also was looking for a cover-up that had a full zipper as I get frustrated putting on a pullover when wet. I tend to put clothing on and then take off many, many times during the day, so this cover-up is super easy for me to change in and out of. All in all, I think this is a great product and value for the cost!

This cover up is very cute and comfortable, unzipped. It is a beautiful shade of blue and the lightweight fabric makes it easy to wear. The length is very flattering with ties on either side to give it a soft scoop to show a little more leg. I wear this when I feel I have had a enough sun for the day and it keeps my skin covered and protected very nicely. It is a little snug when zipped up and because of the light fabric, it shows all the natural curves of my figure so I choose to keep it unzipped. I would size up if you want to zip it and not have all your curves showing. Note that It does not have pockets if that's important to you.
