My son wore this shirt on a recent trip to Florida, and it was perfect. He didn’t burn at all, even after spending hours in the sun trying to catch fish in the waves. The hood was especially nice since it was super windy so  keeping a hat on was impossible, but he was able to keep the hood up the entire time.It’s really comfortable, and he loves the bass graphic on the back. My son is usually between an x-small and small; we went with the small since that was the smallest size offered. It fits him fine overall, the arms are the only part that are truly too long, but that wasn’t an issue and just means he’ll get a full year of use out of it.My only gripe is I wish they offered more water-safe color options. This particular color blends in with the water, which isn’t ideal for visibility. I prefer kids’ water wear to be bright and easy to spot, especially if they’re playing or fall into the water.I would absolutely buy more from this brand. My husband has shirts from this line as well, and they’ve held up great through tons of wear and washes. Overall, a fantastic shirt for sun protection and active kids.

My son is 5’1” and weighs 93 pounds. He is tall and thin. He normally wears a youth large and sometimes and XL, depending on clothing brand. There was not a size chart provided so I ordered an XL to be safe. It is a little big on him, but not terribly so.Fabric quality is nice. It’s very thin and lightweight which is perfect for our hot/humid climate. The design is cool and both my husband and son approve!

I bought this fishing shirt for my 9-year-old, and he’s basically convinced he's now a professional angler/fish fashion icon. The moment he put it on, he struck a pose, whispered “call me Tarpon Tony,” and ran outside with a fishing pole he made from a broomstick and some dental floss.The shirt is cooler than a fish in a freezer—literally. The breathable mesh back makes it look like he's training for a junior triathlon while just standing around eating goldfish crackers. The 4-way stretch? Let's just say he attempted a backflip off a picnic table and declared it was “because the shirt made him more agile.” I didn’t have the heart to disagree.It also has UPF 50+ sun protection, which means I can stress 50% less about reapplying sunscreen every 10 minutes. Bonus points: it’s machine washable, because after one “swamp exploration mission,” it came back smelling like ambition and pond water.All in all, he wears this hoodie like it’s a superhero costume. I haven't caught him sleeping in it yet, but it's only a matter of time.Highly recommend for any kid who wants to fish, flex, and feel fabulous.

My two boys (ages 6 & 9) used these for a fishing trip and loved them. The quality was great and they kept them cool while also protecting them from the sun. They loved the look of them and I loved the price. I'd recommend.

Fit is great and my son wore this for 6 hours out on the water with absolutely no sunburn. He kept cool and it was light and comfortable.

My son loves this shirt so much he asked for another one in a different color for Christmas. The fit is accurate and the quality is great. My son loves that there’s a loop inside the cuff to put his thumb through so his sleeve doesn’t ride up his arm. The fabric is comfortable and the color in the photo is accurate.

Grandson loved it! Definitely worth the price.

My husband is a huge fan of Huk shirts, so our little man wanted to be like daddy and have a fishing shirt too. This shirt is so cute on him! The material has that same thin yet soft material from other higher end fishing shirts. It is great for hot weather and water. The size is true to size and fits him very well. He loves that a hood is included too. The image is clearly printed on with zero quality issues. My son loves wearing this and being "just like dad". Highly recommend.

Great quality! I love these UPF shirts. This one is cute. The shirt is light weight and the size was good for my tall six year old. It is a very functional shirt as it protects from the sun. It washes good and I think the price is fair. All in all I am satisfied with this shirt for my son.

It's me, queen of UPF long sleeve shirts! This is the first one I've picked up that has a hood, and I'm smitten. The fabric is exactly what I have come to expect - that slightly plasticy cool synthetic feeling - and the color is lovely. I wear these under my work uniform so the sun doesn't attack me, usually with a ridiculously oversized hat, and I can't believe I've never tried one with a hood before. It's amazing, I can get away with a ball cap instead of a safari hat, and even a bike ride doesn't let the wind completely mangle my hair! I'll be on the lookout for sales on this style for sure. I do prefer the kinds without a design, but since I wear it under other clothes, no one knows I have a secret redneck layer hiding underneath. Now that I'm typing that, I'm actually amused, I suppose this one is perfect after all.

My son is able to wear it outside, even in hot weather. It protects him from the sun. This is a very nice shirt that otherwise fits true to size, but the sleeves are about four inches too long. Very strange. Most shirts of this nature have Capri length sleeves which drive me nuts as an adult. And the material is soft, stretchy, and very breathable.
