For the price point, you get what you pay for. These get dirty FAST, and I have only had them for a couple weeks with light use at work (I am a professional driver so I'm mostly just gripping steering wheels), and they already look like they're several months old. They wash just fine though. But it's the stitching that looks most problematic. There are so many stitched areas (every single finger in multiple places) that they're bound to come apart very soon.If you need something durable, these are not it. If you're just looking for some sun protection and light use, they're fine.

Size fit my monster paws well. Good quality, and comfortable. Grip fish well.

So far they have worked but I’m usually a solid women’s medium and I’m ordering them in small. It wasn’t worth sending the medium back. They are still wearable and having to pay shipping back didn’t justify it. Unfortunately my hands don’t like sun exposure and these work well.

I am really enjoying these gloves. I got them for hand protection while in the sun as my skin is prone to skin cancer at age 73. The gloves are a good fit and I have no problem grabbing and picking things up while wearing them. Some folks comment on how "wild" they look. Be aware that while the listing says 'machine washable', when they arrive in the package the package says DO NOT MACHINE WASH. That is why the fours stars instead of five.

These worked very well to block all of the suns rays, but my hands did not get sweaty, even in the hot Panama sun

I bought these gloves for protecting my skin from sun damage. I purchased the Air Light color with the opening in fabric on the palms. I'm a female and the small size was perfect. I chose the fabric-less palms for ventilation and to prevent damage from using hiking poles. I am impressed with how cooling and breathable the fabric is. It dries quickly and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. These gloves save me from having to apply sunscreen to the back of my hands. I think a more durable glove for continued hiking pole use would be necessary, but I find this glove more versatile for many outdoor activities like kayaking and hiking.

Use them daily on the bike rides, must have for the Florida sun. They last a long time.

I love these gloves. They are light and cool and keep the sun off. I wish I had been wearing these for the past 20 years, my hand would have thanked me.

Used these on a multi day canoeing trip. They were perfect. Lightweight, breathable, and quick drying, with padding in just the right spots to keep my hands blister free.e

Grip is great. Lightweight. However these do not stretch like other similar gloves so they are difficult to put on and remove. Recommend sizing up to get them on and off more easily.

I bought these gloves for a rafting trip down the grand canyon—they were wonderful! I bought covered finger gloves as well but my hands got cold in them but not these. I could work phone because fingers clear and they fit great. they dried quickly and washed well when I got home. Great value and great product!

I had a pair of fishing gloves that I liked, but they didn't last - failed at the seams. I thought I would give these a try. When I measured my hand, I was right at the edge between a size large and extra large. So I ordered a size extra large. When received, the extra large size was simply too big. However, my biggest concern was the materal cutout in the center of the palm. I did not feel the description clealy pointed this out. I had thought this was a leather padded area. Probably my fault, but when fishing or paddling a kayak, I would not want a cutout at that point. I would consider that a point of wear and tear on my hand. Other than that, the material was stretchy and comfortable. It certainly will breathe. I also like the added length which can prevent sunburn on the wrist area that even a long sleeve shirt would not cover. Overall, an okay product, but the sizing chart and overall product description could be improved.

I used these for the first 1100 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail. I was a little worried they wouldn't hold up to so much use, but they did well. I wore them while hiking with trekking poles for ~8-12 hours per day for two months. They developed holes in places where my poles were rubbing on them and the seams on some of the fingers started coming apart, but this was partly my fault for fidgeting with them while walking. But they still protected my hands.I found they improved comfort of my trekking pole straps. Another benefit is that they protect your hands from minor falls, in a similar way to cycling gloves. They saved some skin a couple times, without taking any significant damage themselves.The light gray color shows dirt, sweat, chocolate, etc, so they can look a little gross after a while, but they wash up just fine after. They dry quickly when wet, and if you have to wear them wet, they're still fairly comfortable.Many other hikers on the trail had more expensive gloves and I think those may have held up a little better, but I'm not sure. I think I was a little rougher on my gloves than most. These are great for the price, and I recommend them!

I've never touched a fishing rod in my life. Was quite disappointed in the selection of driving gloves available and decided to give these a shot.They felt good and well-crafted in my hands; higher quality than some other "UV" gloves I've tried. Took them for a spin under intense sunlight for 5 hours. Normally I'd be burning, but on this drive I didn't feel the sun at all. Palms weren't sweaty. Fingertips open so I can fiddle with my phone at the gas station without removing it.My only knock against it is that the part that covers the pinky is basically all cloth and not reinforced unlike other fingers, so when I pull on it to remove the glove, I can see it stretch. Over time, this part will probably get damaged. But even so, it's held up well and does a tremendous job serving a function it was never supposed to serve - keeping my pasty hands from burning on long drives. Would buy again if I ever decide to pick up fishing.

Pros: Well made. Nice that they protect from UV light. Light color is nice for those of us who do water sports in hot, bright, places. Padding on the fingers that is made for more easily taking off the gloves is nice because it provides more padding to the finger tips, especially the last joint (PIP). The length of the material over the fingers is longer and that is better for protecting the last finger tip joint, however, the glove fits too loosely for this to really work for me. I need gloves that protect my joints, especiall the last finger joint, when paddling and I need padding and very tight fabric, but ideally with finger tips exposed because water feel is important in outrigger paddling.Cons: XS still runs very large and my hands are not tiny, and I'm female. Because of the big size, the gloves don't support the last joint at all and the padding is not in the right place and it is not sufficiently placed throughout the palm (where the T-top of the outrigger paddle fits in your hand at the top of the stroke). The antislip, manmade material needs to be extended more into the palm.... it is not in the right places for some paddle sports like outrigger canoeing, and especially with a too big glove, you don't get as much grip. Also, the manmade material provides some grip but not nearly as well as leather padding. I do prefer non-animal sources, but truly, leather is far better for non-grip surface that still allows enough slide that it is easy to change paddle from one hand to the other. The man made surface isn't as good for the paddle transfer. Like others have said, the glove length on the wrist is really short.... this is good maybe for watches but most watches will be farther up the arm and not so low on the wrist where this glove ends. The short glove at the wrist will make it important to put sunscreen on your wrist, and thats not ideal for water sports where your hand is always getting wet. The looseness of the gloves made it feel like paddling with a dripping, soggy fabric on the hand and thats very distracting.... like paddling with a wet diaper. That part I could get use to if the gloves were tighter.Overall I would love these gloves if they: were tighter, especially on the last joint of the finger; were more padded over the finger joints (especially the last joint on the fingers) and in the palm; had more length at the wrist; had a snap so that the gloves can be stored snapped together like other brands do like NRS.

I knew it would be great for my low sunscreen swim outfit, and it really was. After a rafting trip where I burned the heck out of my hands, I knew I needed something, and these had just enough finger exposed to have full dexterity, while keeping my skin mostly protected.Still, I had my doubts about wearing them out for a walk, or biking on a hot day. The feeling of something between your fingers can end up being a bit much, especially with a synthetic fabric.Long story short, it has become more and more automatic to pack them and wear them. Going out on a dusty trail in the full summer sun? Yup, I wear them. Going to the grocery store where I know I'll wait around in the sun? I wear them. Going somewhere where I know I'm going to be holding onto rails a lot to keep my balance? You guessed it! This is my jam.I figure wearing gloves regularly is a lot like wearing a hat. Some people just hate the feeling, and some people take it into territory where it becomes an obstruction for important things they want to do, and still more wear head coverings for protective, safety purposes where compromises with comfort are de rigeur. There are still those times, and those products where you get to have most of the comfort you secretly expect out of everything in life, 😉 and an experience of a new utility in your life. That is what these gloves have been for me.I think our glove and hat wearing ancestors were on to something. Out on the water it's going to be hard to get away with not at least putting sunscreen on your face, even with a full brimmed hat. Still, much like ablative paint, sunscreen is not good for fish and coral if it's made with heavy metals. (I'm taking a good guess that raspberry oil is pretty much ok.) And I don't know about you, but I really have a problem putting on sunscreen, getting dirty, and then staying that way, maybe even over night. If it gets in my eyes, or all over what I'm touching (like a phone screen), I'm annoyed. Maybe it isn't a big annoyance, but it itches in the back of the brain pan. Now, I know, you're thinking that's an easy thing to tough out. Sure, but how does it feel when you don't have to?It's a lot like the first time you discover what it feels like to get truly clean in the wilderness, body and laundry.It's like seeing a Swedish troll for the first time.I could go on... 😁
